"Frank is an aspiring young photographer interested in Fine Art Photography and in documenting the human condition in its broadest sense. This can be done anywhere, from the intimate settings of a studio to the streets around the world. He strives to capture the individual in front of the lens to show his or her personality or an observed commentary on the state of the world. While attempting to get to the core of this initiative he is convinced that the best photograph is the one he is about to take.
In the summer of 2008, Frank moved from the Netherlands to Vancouver to be with his Canadian girlfriend. Wanting a career change after working as a civil servant and political advisor for 7 years, he decided to follow his passion for photography and enrolled into the full-time program at Focal Point. He will graduate in July 2009 and plans to pursue a career in photography."
